Since 1987, I've met with a group of women to discuss our work and our lives as artists. Initially the group included quilters Judy Becker, Nancy Crasco, Sandy Donabed and Sylvia Einstein. We soon added Linda Behar and Barbara Crane. Linda quickly turned to embroidery. Recently Barbara Crane shifted from us to the world of poetry and we've added Adrienne Sloane, whose fiber art focuses on knitting.
Over the years,we've encouraged and supported one another, and have learned to trust and appreciate our individual viewpoints. Throughout the exchanges, our voices have remained unique and infuences, if any, have been subtle. We've exhibited together and have become close friends.
