This is an unassuming but somehow magical tide pool near Two Harbors, Maine, caught in dramatic
end of day light. It is a preserve named in honor of Rachel Carson who gathered information here. The
drawings were done years before, but until I paired them with potato dextrin resist, I couldn't figure out
how to suggest the patterns of the pebbly beach.
